In Phantom of the Opera, there's a scene where a masquerade ball is being held. There's a lot of inspiration in that scene because you can look at the designs of the masks and see which one is best for you. Some of them are a bit complex, but you can modify it to a level you're comfortable with and many of the masks are very beautiful.
