How can I make flames for my mask?

Its going to be ghost rider. The licensed costume they sell though completely sucks, and it has terrible ratings from buyers abouthow cheesy the mask is. So I am buying a skull mask view it here : http://cgi.ebay.com/SKULL-AND-BONES-HALLOWEEN-MASK-NEW_W0QQitemZ150172083773QQihZ005QQcategoryZ70976QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

How can I make cool flames coming off it?How can I make flames for my mask?
okay...this might or might not work. Go to a craft store and buy some light gage wire. Also buy some sheer light weight material in orange, red and yellow. Take the fabric and cut out flame shapes...shape the wire and hot glue the fabric on...use a low setting (or make sure it is one of those guns that doesn't shoot out the glue so that it is so hot that it will burn or melt the mask) . Leave enough wire on the ends of the flames so that you can bend it to lay flat against the mask. Using the low setting on the hot glue gun, glue the flames onto the mask.

I don't know if this will work or not, but it is worth a try and it is what I would do if I was trying to make this costume myself.
