Are there any homemade face masks to make your pores smaller?

I have huge pores and I want to use a homemade face mask.Are there any homemade face masks to make your pores smaller?
I have never tried this but I am planning on it. It seems a little weird but I saw it in Seventeen magazine.. You mix 1/2 cup of milk and 2 tablespoons of brown sugar together and leave it on your face for 1 minute. This will make your pores smaller and clean them out.
